This is an outstanding foundation for a career as a professional horticulturist anywhere in the world. The qualification is accredited in the UK, and awarded by the largest and most internationally recognisable horticultural organisation: The Royal Horticultural Society of the UK.

Prerequisites  Anyone enrolling in this diploma is assumed to have first completed either:

  • The RHS General Certificate in Horticulture; or
  • an equivalent certificate such as the ACS Certificate in Horticulture C12CN002
  • The fees quoted for this diploma includes the fees for the RHS Advanced Certificate which in effect forms the first part of this qualification.

    The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is known and respected worldwide, and their qualifications are considered the most internationally credible qualifications in horticulture. This course run by the Australian Correspondence Schools (ACS) will prepare you to sit the RHS Advanced Certificate in Horticulture examinations, including the practical examination which must be undertaken in the UK.  This course gives you greater depth of knowledge and horticultural skill, and if you want to go even further, it forms the first stage of the RHS Diploma in Horticulture.  

    Successful completion of this course and RHS theory exams, plus 100 hrs of industry contact, will also allow you to gain an ACS Advanced Certificate in Horticulture.

    Royal Horticultural Society Master of Horticulture Duration icon 2000 hours

    The Peak Qualification offered by the world's largest horticultural organisation - the Royal Horticultural Society (UK).

    A horticultural management oriented qualification for anyone with diploma or higher qualifications in horticulture or a related discipline (or equivalent). This is accredited as a first degree level course in the UK. The qualification is awarded upon satisfaction of completing assessments in eight modules, which are conducted by the RHS.

    NOTE

    • Most assessments can be undertaken from anywhere in the world; however, some of the assessments may require you to visit and undertake them in the UK before completing the qualification.
    • Enrolment cannot be finalised until it is approved by the RHS, as well as ACS.
