Forms stemless, stoloniforous clumps, with leaves 30 to 60cm long, with white spots, and brown teeth along margins; yellow flowers on flower heads up to 90cm long.

Uses

Clear sticky sap has medicinal properties.

Also grown as a container plant, inside or out; or as an in ground ornamental.

Culture

Can be fairly cold hardy, but frost sensitive. Water moderately throughout most of the year however only sparingly when dormant; grow in a well-drained soil and prefers full sun.
