Fast-growing, spreading annual plant approx 15-25cm high and wide. Small, dentate, grey-green leaves. The bowl-shaped, blue flowers have white centres and occur in spring.

Uses

Flowering annual suitable as a temporary groundcover in rockeries, cottage gardens and garden beds.

Culture

Grow in full sun or part shade in temperate climates. Avoid hot conditions. Prefers fertile, moist and well-drained soil. Protect from winds. Propagate from seed in autumn. Susceptible to aphids.
