Rosette herbaceous perennial from .4m to 1m high. Leaves are lanceolate, hairy and blue-green. Flowers are large with cup-shape petals, come in wide variety of colours and features a dark patch at the base of each petal.

Uses

Ornamental flower suitable for cottage gardens rockeries and garden beds.

Culture

Suitable for full sun in cool or temperate climates. Prefers moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Tolerates frost. Propagate by seed in spring or autumn, or root cuttings in winter.
