Sheep's Fescue

Clump-forming perennial grass growing to 30cm high. Leaves are upright, stiff and grey-green. Panicles of purple-green spikelets containing 4-5 flowers occur in summer.

Uses

Ornamental grass suitable for meadows, rockeries and cottage gardens. Also used as feed for stock.

Culture

Suitable for full sun or part shade and a cool or temperate climate. Prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soils. Drought resistant. Propagate by seed.
