This European native will spread approximately 3 metres. It is an evergreen creeper or groundcaver with slender, prostrate stems and pointed, elliptic leaves. The flowers are lilac blue, with 5 petals, appearing in spring and summer.

Uses

Ornamental creeper or groundcover. It should be positioned carefully as it can become invasive.

Culture

Vinca minor is adaptable to a range of soils and locations. It is drought and frost resistant and can be can be propagated by cuttings. Vincas should be kept moist.
