Green leaves with brownish centres to the leaf; forming clumps up to 35cm tall and 35cm diameter.

Masses of soft light pinkish fragrant flowers from late spring through early summer.

In milder areas, an evergreen; but will die back with severe cold.

Uses

Ground cover; container plant, woodlands, alpine and rock gardens (if shaded). 

Culture

Moist soil, sandy or clay, alkaline or acid. Needs part or full shade.
