Sweet Marjoram

A warm weather plant, to 30cm tall, yellow to grey green leaves, tiny white flowers, sweeter flavour than other origanums. 

Uses

Grown as a ground cover, edging plant or in pots. In cooler climates, may be cultivated in a greenhouse.

Culture

Hardy, prefering well drained but moist soils. Grows well in warm weather if watered. Harvest or prune regularly, and feed a couple of times a year to promote fresh, succulent leaves for harvesting.

Propagation

Division; or sometimes seed or cuttings.
