Fast-growing, bushy annual plant approx 20-30cm high by 15-20cm wide. The leaves are pale green, lancealoate and dentate. The yellow, white, red or orange flowers are lobed, 2-3cm wide and occur in terminal racemes during spring.

Uses

Ornamental flower suitable for cottage gardens, as a bedding plant and as a cut flower.

Culture

Grow in full sun in a protected position in cool or temperate climates. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil. Frost resistant. Remove growing tips to encourage a bushy habit. Propagate from seed.
