Semi-evergreen, clump-forming herbaceous perennial with a height and width up to 1m. Leaves are sessile, broad and dark green. Flowers feature a large white spathe and yellow spadix. Poisonous plant.

Uses

Ornamental perennial suitable for wet sites, cottage gardens and perennial borders.

Culture

Suitable for full sun or semi-shade and a temperate or warm climate. Remains evergreen in warm, moist conditions. Tolerates waterlogging and frost. Propagate by division. Can be invasive.
