Plants are very frost hardy, and can reach heights of up to 4m, with a spread of 1.5m. Summer flowers are up to 3cm across,lantern shaped, and greenish yellow.

Uses

Brightens up shady spots with an eyecatching summer display.

Culture

The most important requirement for successful cultivation is a well-drained, humus -rich, permanently cool soil with good moisture retention. The plants like to climb up to the sun with their roots in the shade. Prune before new growth begins in early spring,removing all of the previous seasons growth down to a pair of strong buds.
