Deciduous shrub approx 2.5m high by 2.5m wide. Leaves are small, lanceolate, dark green and deeply veined, often turning red in autumn. Flower buds are pink; opening to form scented, large rounded heads of cream/white flowers in spring.

Uses

Ornamental shrub with aromatic flowers suitable for smaller gardens.

Culture

Suitable for full sun or part shade, preferring deep, fertile and moist soil. Frost resistant. Can be heavily pruned after flowering. Propagate by softwood cuttings in summer.
