Bell-Fruited Mallee

Small, slow growing, tree or shrub to 3m by a similar spread. Bark is smooth and grey; leaves are broadly ovate tapering to a point 120mm long by 50mm wide. Flowers are showy, large and yellow and appear in winter through to spring.
 

Uses

For bush gardens, woodlands or Mediterranean style gardens. 
  

Culture

Well-drained soils, sandy or gravel based preferred and in full sun; drought tolerant  – resents tropical or sub-tropical conditions. 
 

Propagation

Seed - which germinate readily.

Eucalyptus preissiana subsp. preissiana

Plant Health

Is usually pest and disease resistant but may be prone to white scale.
